A Richer Man

The whole CDH thing...the child is born without a fully formed diaphragm so when it inhales and exhales it brings things inside the lungs that make it difficult to breathe...if the child could breathe at all...I got there early and I read one of the success stories in a book at the Cherubs Golf Tournament on Monday at Brier Creek and I read one of the stories that wasn't successful.

I couldn't imagine having my little baby go through any kind of surgery at all...nonetheless 50 or 60 which has happened to some. I am telling you I walked off that golf course a richer man. And I walked off feeling happy and sad...which is a whole lot better than walking off the golf course MAD like I usually do. Since I got there early...I also was the first one at the durned donut table.

If I never do anything else in this life, in the end I will have this...I was put in a position on this earth to be able to get the word out...to get the word out for people trying to do good things like these crazy cats in Henderson, the Cherubs. The leader of this group lost her baby boy to CDH and she supports and fights every day for the people that have had this happen to them. There's just not much better than that. Except shooting even par. OMG I am so funny.
